Background
X10 Productions (also known as XTen Productions) is a production house in advertising business since 2001 according to their LinkedIn profile. They are located at 118/2, Cotta Road, Colombo.[1] As at June 2024, the official website (http://www.xtenproductions.com) of X10 was not working, and the members of its executive team were not mentioned in any reliable source of information found in the public domain. However, the following individuals were listed as the directors of the productions featured on their YouTube channel.[2]

X10 produced a video promoting flavoured cigarettes. It was published on their YouTube channel on 6 September 2021. In relation to this video, they mention their client as the Ceylon Tobacco Company PLC (CTC). Implications
Tobacco advertising, promotion, and sponsorship have been banned in Sri Lanka since 2006 with the enactment of the NATA Act. Flavoured cigarettes have been banned in Sri Lanka since 2016 through an amendment to the NATA Act.
