Background
Monisha Abrahim has been appointed the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Ceylon Tobacco Company PLC (CTC) from 1 December 2021 (Image 1).[1] [2][3] Ceylon Tobacco Company PLC (CTC), which holds the monopoly of cigarette manufacturing and sales in Sri Lanka, is a subsidiary of British American Tobacco (BAT). Abraham was the Managing Director of International Beverages Corporation, a subsidiary of Heineken International, an alcohol manufacturing company. She has joined the Heineken International in 2005 and has held various positions in different countries.[1] [2][3]

According to her LinkedIn Profile, she was educated at the Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, India, INSEAD Business School, IMD Business School and Harvard Business School.[4]
